well, the whistleblower..no longer able to leak directly, he heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend...we have outed a spook on Halloween.
I mean, how perfect is that.? For all of you" soft coup" folks. I have news for you , It didn;t start out that way. At the end of the Cold War, panicked about their role, the CIA ( et all) set about to make themselves useful, carve a new path...which proved devastatingly poor in the 9/11 attacks. not only did they fail to keep up with intel, they never warned anyone with power.... Leading us to the FBI. Which was still, if I recall, on Windows 3.1 computers. left in the dust by the Clinton administration, Their labs were also charged with having problems..... So what did we do? we gave them more power under the Patriot Act. We created Homeland Security. and dozes of "alphabet" agencies. From what I understand, only military intelligence may have remained outside of the tentacles of bureaucrats. When her husband threatened the war narrative, Valerie Plame was outed. the Bush administration didn't even sweat it.. offered up Scooter Libby and moved on. ( this part matters..keep it in mind) Mueller and Comey claim victory by sneaking into the Attorney General's hospital room, to sign papers or not sign papers, I forget. they considered it urgent. white hats...well, are we sure? shouldn't governmental regulations and bureaus have more transparency, regular chain of command for emergencies, etc etc? why the story of a desperate journey across DC? Keep reading Comey, Mueller, and others switch off agencies, take turns being the boss.. and Brennan holds sway . Bureaucracies become almost living entities, concerned about their own base of power their own budget, their own mores . Consider the EPA, as well as some on he Hill, using technology that would send texts and delete... so as not to have to put something in the public record. Our whole ( unelected) government, seems to have been obsessed with not having a paper trail, so to speak. and that leads to the State Department, acting the same way. which matters because...well, do you really think every diplomatic employee is just a diplomatic employee? what was Valerie Plame, hmmmm? With all of these folks, they considered Clinton a sure win, their jobs were safe, and they could Fisa court all enemies, all IRS findings on non profits, with ease. Someone knew early on her numbers weren;t as good as projected. That should scare every one of us .they allowed the media to lie.( not that they are supposed to mess with the media) Worse, some agents were more or less openly working with them...taking tickets etc for info. ( when the head is rotten the whole body is rotten). everyone making money and high fiving and apparently planning on ruining Trump for making their darling look bad, I t was just that personal. Comey handled the email investigation.. badly. the pressure must have been enormous.Loretta Lynch..was stupid. ( apparently someone in the secret service or FBI alerted the news about the tarmac meeting. maybe that wasn;t right either, but it was scaring some real lifetime employees...which should scare all of us, again). We all know, now about the round robin approach to getting the Steele dossier as evidence. Give a copy to John McCain, have the author himself give an interview and cite that as another source....they knew better, but they were worried about something.. Their jobs. their special treatment. They have continued the same practices, with poor Mueller waffling on the hill and saying,, with his testimony, ..I;m an old man.. I'm pitiful I did my best. the whoie thing died with a whimper. But not before several Trump campaign official paid with prison time, fines, and public ruin. Fisa courts were never meant to be political weapons. I have a feeling those judges are quite angry with their FBI prosecutors..setting them up. and if Fisa can be used against anyone, just for being close to an unpopular politician..what could they do to the rest of us.? None of this matters for the moment, except as it relates to secret impeachment proceedings.Telephone tag is not the same as someone who was there. But having gotten outed apparently, early on, for leaking intel...the CIA took their operative back, and he still has contacts.. in the White House. That should scare you tool. Is the intel for sale to our enemies? highest bidder? or just back to those alphabet agencies.. still protecting their jobs. Now they run to a handful of politicians who will present the info the way they want it presented. whispers in the dark, Not to be brought into the light.. if ever.. except for a vote in the House. Who will pass it, with enthusiasm, without being examined, without being vetted..we said it so it happened. We have bureaucrats telling us how to think, how to feel, not voted into office, with no actual means of us throwing them out of their jobs. For the average person working at these agencies, I am sorry, you have watched the political animals rise, and pervert the course of justice. You have the choice to quit, or continue to try to change it from inside the organization.I in mo way meant to include you Every spy should be scared out of their wits, never knowing when a boss will talk to a blabber mouth politician.. It has cost lives, We know that. |
