Jesus' statement on prophecy fulfilled , sent to John the Baptist as he suffered in prison. Yes, we all understand the spiritual significance.A new walk with God.A fulfillment of prophecy about the Messiah,. But there were actual physical healings. The strangest of all of these is the man who was blind.Jesus made clay of dirt and spit, and put it on his eyes. John 9:When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, I never could figure it out Surely, Jesus wasn;t some magician, using some arcane ritual.... But if one is indeed, the Son of God, the Word, the creative force behind the world itself, and could make a man, a new being, from the dust of the earth He could make the clay again and recreate the man;s eyes. He made new eyes! |
